Learn how to set up a Prolux Storm carpet shampooer with a Rainbow Vacuum. We use a Rainbow E Series 1 speed in this video, but this applies to Rainbow vacuums from the D4 model to the E2 Blue/Silver model.

  • The Prolux Storm currently does not fit E2 Black or newer models of Rainbow vacuums.

Hey, everyone, it’s Kyle for today I’m demonstrating how to use Prolux Storm with a Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner.

When your Prolux Storm unboxes you’re gonna have a few things in front of you’re gonna have.

  • Carpet Shampooer
  • Hose Handle
  • Main Wand
  • Carpet Cleaner Solution

Assembling the prolux storm.

Take the main wand on the bottom there gonna be a button lock you need to put the button lock towards the front of the unit.

Go ahead and insert the main wand into this pivot you’ll know it’s in when you hear the button lock click.

Take the carpet shampooer power cord and feed it through.

The top of the wand on the top of this bracket it’s going to be a hole so make sure you feed the cord through it.

Take your hose handle and plug that in on top of the wand.

Once in you can see the button lock through the hole and the hose handle will be connected to the carpet shampooer power cord.

Now now we have the Prolux Strom assembled. I’m going to show you how to fill the tank.

If you turn the tank around there’s gonna going to be instructions and the instructions read:

One lid full of shampoo solution per tank of water for light shampooing and two lids of solution for dirtier carpets.

I’m going to fill the tank ¾ of water I’m gonna add two caps since we’re shampooing dirtier carpets.

Now that we have the shampooer tank filled up with the water solution.

A quick tip: Take your tank and shake it to get that solution going in there.

Put the tank back on the shampooer.

Take your tool hose make sure you use your tool hose this is safe for water pickup if you use your main electrical you might have some electrical problem within the hose.

Take the main hose and connect it in front of the vacuum.

Take the top of the hose and plug that in the back of the hose handle make sure the water suction release valve is closed so the water doesn’t come out.

Take the hose handle cord and plug that directly above the tool hose.

How to turn everything on.

There is a button on the bottom right of the unit if you press it forward that going to use in tile and it’ll disperse less water. If you push the back side it’s gonna be used for carpet and that’s gonna disperse more water.

On the top of the handle, there’s a red button you need to press forward to the eye position once that’s on position go ahead and turn your vacuum on.

All right I just finished shampooing my carpets with Prolux storm if you notice a lot of excess water on your carpet it seems soaking wet.

I recommend going over those spots with the hose handle switch off the Prolux storm we’ll just use the suction from the vacuum to pick up all the excess water.

Alright everyone that’s gonna sum up this How to Use the Prolux Storm with a Rainbow Vacuum. I hope you guys found it helpful.
