Hey there it’s Kyle again and for today's how we’re gonna show you how to change the button lock on a rainbow hose or wand.
Let’s get started you’re going to need some needle nose pliers and some C-style button locks.
Where gonna demonstrate how to change the button lock on an E2 black hose let’s say your button lock is broken or not locking correctly where gonna show you how to remove it and install the new one?
We’re gonna want to do is push it down taking you to those pliers get in there
Grab the edge of it and pull it out.
Take your new C-style button lock were gonna have to compress it enough to where the button lock goes in to hose.
Use your finger to guide it to the hole sometimes it’s gonna pull out on you just kind of wiggle it around and it will pop it to place.
Let's say your wand isn’t the issue but the wand is whether you have riveted button lock or a C-style button lock that just sits in there.
- Riveted button lock.
- C-style button lock.
I'm going to show the process is the same as the hose take your needle nose pliers push the button lock down your needle in there just grab it and push it out.
Grab your new C-style button and compress it use your finger in there and wiggle around until its pops in.
