Quick guide/overview of the CA3500!

Hey everyone it's Kyle from GreatVacs and for today I will be covering the CA3500 6 Stage Air Purifier/Ozone Generator we've been getting a lot of questions and concerns about this unit so in this video I will be covering an overview of it the filter ozone when to use it how to use it so if you're a new customer you’re looking to purchase one this will keep you guideline or if you’re existing customer this might be helpful to you.

THE BASICS:

This unit is rated up to 3500 square feet and it has 2 nozzles in the front.

The right knob is for air purifying mode and fan speed control the left knob is strictly for ozone.

  • Fan speed dial must be on for the ozone feature to work.

Two indicator lights one always green and that’s the power light the other light is the ozone light which will light up red letting the user know that the ozone is active.

On the back of the unit, you have a power switch on and off and a 3-foot-long power cord.

FILTRATIONS:

6 Stage of Filtrations.

  • Washable HEPA Filter
  • Charcoal Filter
  • Tio2 Photo Catalytic Filter
  • UV Light
  • Activated Ozone Generator
  • Negative Ion Filtration

HEPA Filters -  Will be the backbone of this unit HEPA filtration helps trap dirt, dust, pollen, pet dander, dust mite, and even tobacco smoke most HEPA filters on the market will be equipped with some type of HEPA filters.

Charcoal Filters - The charcoal filter is sweet and simple it just helps captures odors.

Tio2 Photo Catalytic Filter - Helps turns nasty pollutants into harmless substances.

UV Light - The UV light inactivates or removes airborne pathogens and microorganisms like mold, bacteria, and viruses the UV light will not harm you unless you get right up to clear the case and stare at it for a long period.

Negative Ion Filtration - Can be found above the fan and it helps with getting rid of particles as small as 0.01 microns in size including pollen, bacteria, allergens, and dust that can cause breathing problems and overall lower health.

Ozone - This is the biggest concern we get emailed about and a big reason majority of our purifiers are returned so how does ozone work by essentially taking oxygen from the air o2 and giving a strong electrical charge through this process ozone generators can be extremely useful for cleaning pungent odors removing the smell of smokes and eliminating molds.

  • Warning ozone meant to be used in unoccupied areas as it is a respiratory irritant and being exposed to a large amount of time is dangerous to one's health no living things can be in the same room as ozone for example humans, plants, or even your pets.
  • If you turn your unit you smell funky smell sort of like chlorine then turn the ozone feature off and get some fresh air and you'll be perfectly fine.
  • If you don’t want to use the ozone feature at all then simply don’t turn the left dial on or you can take your ozone plate out of the unit.

OPERATIONS:

Let’s talk about the unit itself and how to use it using the unit is very dependent and there need for me to keep the unit in our room where my dog sleeps and where my wife and I spent the majority of our time since it covers up to 3500 square feet I can run it 24/7 with the door open and it will eventually cover our entire home.

HOW TO USE THE OZONE FEATURE:

If you’re needing to use ozone in a room you’re going to want to make sure the room is unoccupied first which means moving any living thing out of it yourself humans and friends family plants or even your pets.

Depending on the room size you can run it between 30 minutes to 2 hours once the room is cleared make sure the windows are shut and turn the unit on exit the room and shut the door behind you.

  • We recommend putting a towel or blanket at the bottom of the door so the ozone doesn’t seep through.

Once the time is up that you chose to enter the room turn the ozone feature off and open the window to let the room air out for at least 30 minutes once the room aired out you can safely enter it.
